Junto Ohki started ShuR Group when he was a sophomore student at Keio University, 21 years old in 2008. ShuR is a Social Enterprise which helps Deaf people with IT. ShuR offers an interpretation service via video chat (VRS), and the cloud-source online sign language dictionary.。
Junto became Kanagawa’s advisory bodies for SME activation member, Gunma’s advisory bodies for consumers’ affairs member, and representative for Japanese Association for an Inclusive Society in 2011. In 2012, Junto was selected as the first Ashoka Fellow in East Asia, had a speech at TEDxTokyo, joined Global Shaper Community, World Economic Forum, and selected as Forbes 30under30 2013.
